I just ordered the majority of the vegetable seeds for my garden. The seed packets individually don’t cost that much ($1.50-$4 a packet), but it adds up when you order 45 packets at a time. There are still a few seeds left to buy. I had some trouble finding the varieties I wanted.
I used the Year Round gardening book I’ve mentioned before to develop a 4 plot crop rotation schedule. I put all the information into Workflowy. Then I cross referenced my desired vegetable list with what was available at the seed suppliers.
Here are the websites I used to order the seeds so far.
- naturalgardening.com – Huge selection and good descriptions of many vegetables.
- rhshumway.com – Slightly cheaper prices for the seeds and for shipping. Also had a large selection with only some overlap with naturalgardening.com.
